Re: Graphs for review
AHI was quite a bit higher than usual last night, but still not massive, will persist with the humidity at 6 again tonight, not sure whether to up the min pressure as I didn't change it when upping the EPR.

Re: Graphs for review
yes, if it were me, i'd increase the minimum to at least 8, unless this is causing you discomfort.
it's the higher epr that's necessitating higher minimum. scroll back to see dreamdiver's explanation about that.
good luck!

Yeah, the EPR thing makes sense, not sure why I didn't adjust.
Might lower the humidity by 1, as my throat feels a bit like watery and weird.

Re: Graphs for review
Other than when you first started the night, your pressure never came back to 7 all night long. I would recommend either 8 or 9 cm pressure since your machine stays in that area all night long any way.

Actually, most suggestions I make are just WAGS. I learned a long time ago that if you sound like you know what you are talking about, no one questions you. If you make hesitant suggestions, people question your knowledge. You can be the smartest person in the room, but if you sound hesitant, people are going to question every thing you say.

Re: Graphs for review
Slept on my side last night, using one of those massive pillows that goes up the back, under the head and down the front - meant I couldn't get comfortable towards the end so woke up properly around 5, although I did nod off for a bit after with no machine.
So was good last night, I am not sure what happened around 3.15 though to be honest!
Today my throat still feels all shitty, but I still have no idea whats causing that, it just kinda feels tight and kinda blocked sometimes, its weird - and doctor won't physically see me, but anyway, I digress.
I think the central apnea's are me trying to get comfy in a different sleep position. Oh and the leaking is the pillow pushing against it to cause it to leak I think.
On another note, I've lost around 40lbs this year so far too, long way to go, but I can see some effects of it in the patterns of things when going back through days in Oscar.

Re: Graphs for review
Definite improvement on the AHI! And congratulations on taking off forty pounds! Probably right about the CA's. Why not leave it on these settings for a few days to get average? This will give you a chance to get used to positional sleeping if you like. Taking the mask off early in the AM is fine. It'll be better for good sleep hygiene to get used to putting it back on before dozing off again. The tight throat thing... I suspect this happens to more than a few of us. I'm hoping others may have suggestions.jerryfudd wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 5:54 amSlept on my side last night, using one of those massive pillows that goes up the back, under the head and down the front - meant I couldn't get comfortable towards the end so woke up properly around 5, although I did nod off for a bit after with no machine.

Re: Graphs for review
I just remembered last night I tried a sleep app and turns out it records sounds!
Around 3.30 til 3.40 I can hear what sounds like snoring! Which I guess must mean my mouth was open, which I am sure never normally happens, and I guess during that period that air through my nose wouldn't have been really doing much?

Curious if the snore graph confirms. Interesting!jerryfudd wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 12:37 pmI just remembered last night I tried a sleep app and turns out it records sounds!

It doesn't seem to, maybe the noise was actually the increased pressure escaping out the mask? It was quite uniformed.DreamDiver wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 12:47 pmCurious if the snore graph confirms. The AirSense 10 is pretty sensitive. Could have been mask farts. Could have been the dog. My stomach sometimes gurgles loud enough to wake me up, even with ear buds on. Of course, it's never the spouse.jerryfudd wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 12:51 pmIt doesn't seem to, maybe the noise was actually the increased pressure escaping out the mask?
