Accessory case for Dreamstation Go

Post by seth » Sat May 09, 2020 5:26 pm

Bought a Dreamstation Go for backup use and for travel (when things get back to normal).
The design of the medium travel case they sell for it is not terribly practical. No space for hose, mask, etc.
The included fabric bag works fine, except that if it is placed in a carry-on, there is a reasonable chance the mask's frame will get cracked as it is soft and unpadded.
Ideal would be a hard case with an internal dimension of around 10"x5"x3". Spent quite some time on Amazon, found ones too small and too large.
Anyone found anything for this?

NOBODY should be allowed to touch your carry-on--except YOU.
Wrap the mask in something thick and soft-- like pajamas.
ALL of your cpap stuff should be with YOU.

Thanks.
The problem is in getting the carry-on into the overhead without hitting the mask, not so much someone else touching it.
I might have finally found a case that is close to what I need, emailed the manufacturer.
Wrapping the mask would be an alternative.

Not knowing what mask you have, I cannot suggest what fits; but you might want to look around
for something else that can protect just the mask.
I buy odd plastic containers at the dollar store with no specific plan for their purpose.
And yet nearly all are now in use.

I use my Resmed Airsense 10 Case for traveling with my Dreamstation GO. The hard GO case, size medium, fits inside the Resmed case with room to spare for the mask and long hose on top. It's helpful because airline employees recognize it as a cpap machine case VS putting it in a generic bag.
