Wrong stats in Oscar

Post by sunnyU » Fri Apr 03, 2020 11:31 pm

Oscar displays wrong statistic numbers for some of the graphs. For example, it shows Peak Flow limitation for a day as 0.54 while the graph went up to 0.97. Same for leak rate. It used to show proper numbers until I opened and closed preferences without changing anything. I tried rebuilding the data and also purging and importing again. How can I fix it?

Oscar shows a 95% value as the max value the same as rescan. It removes the outlier values.

It looks like it has a separate number for 95%?? I added a screenshot to the top post

Because that's the 95th percentile number after the outlier peaks are discarded. It's a useless number anyway, (unless you are a statistician, in which case you'd already know this.)

Did you try creating a new profile and importing again to see if the new profile showed the numbers like the old profile did before it seemed to change?

OSCAR's Max value is actually a 99% value. If you go into OSCAR's CPAP preferences you will see Maximum Calcs is set to 99% (for ResMeds) and can't be changed.

In Sleepyhead, that calculation could be configure to use 99% or True maximum.

OSCAR is Beta software....it just sometimes does weird stuff and we don't know why. It's what beta anything does.
