Unavailability of safe foods is bad but home schooling if you are able is a good thing.

We home schooled both our sons all the way through high school. They made top scores on the GED and went on to graduate from college, one with a Masters degree. Better education occurs with smaller class size and personal attention. With home schooling the teacher has a love for the student not present in the public schools.

Institutional education can become quite toxic.
Many find it about the same as jail for children.
Especially the bullying.

once long ago, i worked as admin at certified sony repair facility. this included walk in customers. we rotated in and out of doing the counter duty. so when a customer at the counter had a question, we'd go ask the techs.

one of the smart ass techs started singing "HEY! Admin. leave those techs alone!"

Hubby found some N95 masks at Menards--not cheap, but bearable.
These have the exhalation valve, so they don't simulate COPD.
Most people don't realize this style only protects the wearer.
I won't tell them if you won't.
