Glad you caught the error. And, posts cannot be deleted after one other person has followed with a comment.
Well, this is the internet. Shake it off, carry on, and welcome to CPAP planet.

Sounds like sound advice on all fronts.
BTW, in my misspent youth I lived in Chicago (post college). Near north side. Still miss Rush and Oak streets, along with walks along Michigan Avenue... ahhh... those were the days!

Re: ResMed AirFit F30i vs. DreamWear FFMs
I used the Dreamwear full face for over a year then the F30 came out and I have used it for a year. I liked the dreamwear except that from time to time it caused irritation in the bottom of my nose. The F30 for me is much more comfortable cushion, but the headgear leaves strap marks on my face in the morning. I want to try the F30i as soon as my equipment provider can get it. It looks like the best of both worlds, the comfort of the F30 and the frame and head gear similar to the Dreamwear Full Face system.

you can easily "foe" him. click his name, then follow the instructions. make sure to stick around for the 'are you sure?" question. you'll never see his post again unless you click to do so or if someone has quoted him, as you have done here.shragae wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 4:54 pmNope, I'm learning -- and I caught the error and tried to delete the post. Re: ResMed AirFit F30i vs. DreamWear FFMs
Maybe you can ask your DME if you can try BOTH the dreamwear FF & Resmed F30i (if they have the F30i in stock). Or, ask to try the F30 at the same time as the dreamwear so you can compare, and when they get the F30i in stock, you can ask to try that version then. I ended up purchasing my F30i out of pocket because my DME didn't have it in stock yet, & I already KNEW it would be my perfect mask since I tried everything else first. Besides, I knew that if I bought from CPAP.com & could return it within a 30 day window for a full refund if I didn't like it. You may want to consider that.

Re: ResMed AirFit F30i vs. DreamWear FFMs
From a review:
https://blog.respshop.com/2020/01/26/re ... -a-review/ResMed claims that in their study of 48 patients, 3 out of 4 preferred the ResMed F30i to the DreamWear Full Face mask. It’s an easy choice for me — the F30i. The DreamWear cushion does not sit right on me. A hard piece of plastic in the corner of the cushion presses against the bone on my upper lip and it requires much headgear tightening to hold my lower lip inside the cushion when I yawn. I tried several different cushion sizes, but honestly, for my facial shape, the DreamWear Full face mask is not a great choice. I don’t think I could sleep all night with it. I wanted it off in 10 minutes. The pyramid-shaped ResMed F30i cushion just fit under my nose better than the oblong DreamWear cushion.

That's what I am hoping for. My local DME is supposed to have stock next week.Seadog-chief wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 6:23 pmIt looks like the best of both worlds, the comfort of the F30 and the frame and head gear similar to the Dreamwear Full Face system.

Re: ResMed AirFit F30i vs. DreamWear FFMs
Newbie here. Just got my Resmed Autocpap 10 last week and have been using the Dreamwear nasal pillows and cushion, switching between both. For me, like the person said earlier in the thread, under the nose, makes it sore and for me, seems to move around a decent amount on my side. Going to try to swap out for the F30i today, since they said within the first 30 days would be a free mask swap out.
Re: ResMed AirFit F30i vs. DreamWear FFMs
Have an appointment at the DME tomorrow to swap out the F20. I wrote and asked them for the F30i so here's hoping... they originally had mentioned the Dreamwear...
Since I never heard back from Thursday's email I sent another one today...

Don't let them stick you with something you don't want. Be prepared to give them a piece of your mind and walk out without anything new. Some of these DMEs are slimier than used car salesmen.
Re: ResMed AirFit F30i vs. DreamWear FFMs
I have problems with the air flow of the dreamwear ff.
Sometime when laying on my side I do not get enough air.
The ducts are too small an get sometimes compressed.
How is this wit the F30i ?
