I don't, but have seen reports of many who have. They recommend top shelf.

Resmed makes a special dishwasher safe water tub.

can we get some more opinions, please? not being snarky but genuine. i see the tank cardsfan alludes to on cpapshop.com. don't know if their price is typical but 32.95 before taxes and what not seems too dear for my cheap *ss. for that money, i'll hand wash it.

but if dog slobber is right, i'll chuck it in the dishwasher. (when i finally get back to where i HAVE a dishwasher!) i've always been leery of asking this. it strikes me that my manual doesn't specifically say you can or can't do it.

anyone actually put the humidifier tank that comes with the resmed into the dishwasher?

(there. i said it.)
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

You can put it in the dishwasher.
The tank with the "C" on the side will survive--but set it to "air dry".

alas, no "c" on the side for me, see?

so will just carry on washing by hand. it's not that onerous a task.

I requested the washable tank, but have only washed it by hand--maybe a couple times a year . . .
Using distilled water has almost completely eliminated the need to wash.

My DME told me that the tank that there are two tanks. The one that comes with the machine is hand-wash only. He gave me the dishwasher safe one.
