Tracking Shipment of Supplies

Post by ctgagnon » Mon Dec 30, 2019 12:30 pm

I currently am on autoship for my CPAP supplies and the DME claims they have no way of sending an email with a tracking number when supplies ship. Does anyone use a DME that can do this? Best they can do is call weeks prior that they have begun processing. Thanks.

I don't believe in autoship.....they ship supplies months before they are needed. When I need something I call and order it and I receive it within 2-3 days.

Either!
Just like writing a blank check to possibly the worst crooks possible.
I get supplies every 3 months on MY initiative.
When I call, they will give me the option of having them ship it.
If I were to choose that, I would ask "what carrier?"
FedEx is the only one with reliable tracking.
Otherwise, ask when shipment is initiated, and make a guess from there.
If theft is a problem, request shipping to your workplace or a secure box.

If you're not getting things "free" through insurance, stop wasting money throwing away perfectly good hoses and masks just to enrich your dme.

Now I remember why I haven't frequented this forum. I asked a simple question and all the reply posts don't answer the question but only castigate. Bye Bye!

"castigate"? by telling you facts, the forum is castigating you?

you truly don't need replenishment of cpap supplies due to any schedule. while you are feeling hurt over this revelation, i'm hoping some other newbie sees this as an eye opener and realize s/he doesn't have to spend money unnecessarily.

you might want to take a stroll over to apneaboard. very friendly and low information over there.

I'll have you know I haven't been involved in any form of castigation since I had my cat, Declan castigated years ago.

He was sore for a bit, didn't like wearing the cone, but since he healed up. he's been very well behaved!

I fail to see how I was not helpful.

Apneaboard, where feelings mean more than facts...

Of course, that means the posters feelings too, so castigating them for not answering your question the way you WANT it answered can get your hand slapped.

cheers!
