SD Card

Post by henkejs » Thu Dec 05, 2019 11:59 am

My machine is set to use a cellular connection to transmit data to my sleep medicine people. I get to see only the limited data displayed by the myAir app. If I insert an SD card to collect more detailed data, will that interrupt the cell connection? Thanks.

You can keep an SD Card in it just fine.

Sounds like you have a ResMed, I and a lot of members keep an SD Card in our devices. The Cell connection works fine and detail data for importing into OSCAR works good as well.

There is lots of detailed information (more than MyAir) on your machine's sleep report screen. To get all the detail your setting for Essentials must be PLUS.

Thanks for the replies. My machine is set to Essentials: Plus, but for the really detailed data it sounds like I need an SD card so I can load it into OSCAR. I was just concerned that using the card might disable the cellular transmission.

The cellular module and the SD card are totally independent. The sleep lab we use does not use the cellular data. They look at the data on the SD card every six months. The only time anyone looked at the cellular data was the DME when they tried to verify I was using the machine so the insurance would pay them for it. Once I got past the compliance phase, they never looked at it again.
