Hose diameter, new mask - what am I missing?

Hello! I’ve been using the Dreamwear nasal cushion and just got the Resmed Airfit n30i nasal cushion to try out. The n30i hose connection doesn’t fit into the hose I have. I feel like I’m missing something obvious. I thought hosing is a standard size. Do I need to buy a new hose to go with the new mask?

I’m not sure how to figure out what brand my hose is, but I attached a picture.

A piece of your DreamWear mask is stuck in the long hose.
I circled it....remove it and your new mask will fit.
Common problem. Wish I had a dollar for every time I see it happen.

THANK YOU! I tried pulling at that piece earlier, but it was jammed in there so tight I figured it was part of the hose and didn’t want to break it.

Yep....either late last week or early this week.
The good news is now I have a picture saved to show it now. I couldn't find my other picture that I had made a while back.

Did I ever tell you about the woman that called up Stuart and was bitching about the Bleep not fitting her Respironics DreamStation heated hose and you guessed it....same part was stuck in it only she argued with him and said the problem was the Bleep and refused to try to remove that part? She even sent him a picture and there it was and she still refused to listen.
