DeVilbiss IntelliPAP AutoAdjust vs. ResMed AirSense 10 Auto for Her

Post by Suenyo » Tue Nov 26, 2019 2:16 am

I'm looking for a new machine and I love that the Devilbiss has a 400ml water chamber and runs on 12v battery power for camping. But does it work with Sleepyhead? And does it use an SD card for data transfer or do you have to link it to your computer over the internet? Anyone Know?

Thanks

It will work with SleepyHead/OSCAR but you have to be sure to purchase the extra module needed so you can get the detailed data the machine gathers. That extra module is where the SD card comes in. There is no way to hook the machine into the computer directly and bypass the need for that extra module.

BUT it doesn't gather as much detailed data as the ResMed AirSense 10 for Her will gather and by the time you purchase the module needed to get the data your cost is almost what the ResMed will cost.

Now it might be that the DeVilbiss data is sufficient for your needs. It's decent enough data but just not as detailed as ResMed.
ResMed machines can be used camping powered by a battery....just need a special converter. Unfortunately not cheap but it is what it is...it can be done.

The AirSense 10 Autoset holds 380ml, and also run s on 12v, with the right cord.

And provides better treatment, when camping and not camping.

Thanks Pugsy and PR!

I'm now comparing the AirSense 10 for Her to the DeVilbiss 2 which seems to be an update. It also has a special humidifier that shunts exhaust air out without humidification. Anyone use this machine?

Does the Pulse Dose Humidifier allow a longer sleep time before you run out of water? Also, does it really prevent rainout? Any reports?

Also, it features an alarm clock which I would love to eliminate my old clock from my bedside table.

Thoughts?

The market leaders are Philips and Resmed, I went for Resmed and very happy with my choice. The Resmed is 100% compatible with Oscar so you can view your data on a breath by breath basis

Since I don't have one, I have no thoughts on the matter.

Sorry, I have no thoughts either about the features you mention because I have never used that brand machine so no experience with those features.
