Sorry, but sometimes it's fun to remind germophobes that there is NO WAY to avoid germs.
Correction: the space program does it--but they have a lot of our money.

Hi!

I went to pick up my filters for the month and they gave me open filters, not in a package, just loose floating in the paper bag. I asked about it and they said it's normal. That's the first time in 10 years of getting filters regularly that the filters were not packaged together.

I refused them and told them to call me when they have filters that are in their packages, because I don't want filters that are contaminated with their employees' fingers and anything and everything floating around.

Is it normal to get filters that are not wrapped? I've always received a small plastic package with two disposable filters in it, never filters that were already open.

Thank you!!
What kind of filters? Disposable or reusable?

The only filters I've ever used are the reusable (black) foam filters which I rinse out and reuse twice a month.
Still using the originals. I have spares which I've purchased from CPAP.COM......they are sealed in two-pack plastic bags.

This topic reminded me of the finger print on the glass scene from The Aviator.

The senator deliberately places a big greasy finger print on Howard Hughes drinking glass, knowing he was a germaphobe to disarm him during their negotiations.

For me a finger print wouldn't but some things would. ;)
