Actually, I am quite sensitive to pressure drop in the mask, probably because of asthma. I find airflow resistance in the mask very distressing. I have also found that getting the mask resistance and hose settings right makes a big difference. The machine can actually do a very good job of compensating - if you let it.

FWIW, the Resmed version of the top-of-head dual-tube frame has roughly half the flow resistance of the Respironics Dreamwear frame, but unfortunately there is no FFM version of that.
