Last night the leak rate was 58 l/m. with AHI 0.1. Maybe the leak was too much for the machine to keep up with resulting in the low AHI?
Where are you getting that 58 L/min number? Off the machine?
It's not so much that you had a big leak happen....it's how long you were actually in large leak and how deep into large leak territory you went and stayed that is the most important thing.
Was it 10% of the night or was it 50% of the night?
I have this thread where I explained things a bit...I had some awful 95% numbers but actually for the night as a whole it wasn't nearly as bad as the numbers make it out to be.
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=108724&p=1036669&hi ... t#p1036669
Remember 95% numbers (and that's what you see on the machine LCD screen) just mean you were AT OR BELOW that number for 95% of the night. People often think it is an average or where they spent most of the night and nothing is further from it.
The "or below" part is real important.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

These ResMed machines are fairly accurate up to around 35 to 40 L/min.... You will usually start seeing UAs being flagged when the machine is having trouble identifying anything when in large leak.
If you spent 5 or 10 minutes up around 50 L/min large leak the AHI during that 5 or 10 minutes might be iffy but it's not going to make a huge difference in the overall accuracy of the numbers.
Now if you spent 50% of the night up around 50 L/min...then we would worry about a low AHI not being accurate.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

Hello everyone, When I looked at my Oscar reports for Friday I saw "CSR" flagged events at 5.30%. The "CSR" events category has never even been listed as a flagged event. I look at the reports daily and have never seen "CSR". I went back and checked every day from when I began using Oscar, August 2019, and the "CSR" event category is now showing up on all the reports, they all show 0%. It was never there before. If you look at the graphs I previously posted they don't show "CSR" as an event, but when I went back and checked those days they now show the "CSR" as an event category.
Is it possible that I somehow turned off the "CSR" event category when I first downloaded Oscar and then somehow turned it back on? I looked in the section where you can turn on and off the different graphs and don't see any thing about being able to turn on or off "CSR".
Is the 5.30% a concern? I'm am now wondering if I have been having "CSR" and it just wasn't showing up on the reports? I had a nuclear stress test last August and everything was fine.
Could some one review the attached graphs and let me know how they look. I don't know what happened last night between 1:13am and 2:18am. It looks like the machine was off. I did get up for a bathroom break at 1:13am, put the machine on stop but went straight back to bed and hooked up the hose and the machine came back on as soon as I breathed into it.
Thank you,

Things like CSR don't show up in Oscar until you've had some.
Get OSCAR

Thank you,
Mine did the same thing last night.
(Except 4:30 to 5:30 AM)
I turn mine off and on manually. Machine not running is something I would notice.
I'm not going to worry about it, unless it starts doing it on a regular basis.
Maybe time change glitch or ?
Nothing is bug free.

Daylight savings time happened... (or, expired for a few months).
It screws up the graphing engine.
Daylight savings time = bad.

Thank you for the explanation.
Now I can rest easy until second Sunday in March.
That should be more than enough time for me to forget your explanation.

It's a low priority fix, since it's a) complicated to fix and b) only pops up twice a year.

Thank you palerider and jimbud for your information. Last two nights no "CSR" showing on the report. I hope it was a fluke of some kind.

Thank you for the information. The same thing happened last night, OSCAR start time not correct. I went to bed at 11:05pm and started the machine. I got to looking at the past days the start time is not right and this is what I noted (I write down the times I go to bed and get up for the day. If I get up to go the bathroom I write it down also).
8-9: Start time showing 1:31am, I got up at 1:30 for the bathroom
8-11: Start time showing 1:09am, I got up at 1:04 for the bathroom
8-20: Start time showing 3:56am, I got up at 1:28 for the bathroom and went back to bed then aroused at 3:55am and dozed from then til I got up.
8-21: Start time showing 2:08am, I got up at 2:01 for the bathroom
8-24: Start time showing 3:05am, I got up at 3:03 for the bathroom
The start times are within minutes of me getting up. I make sure the SD card is inserted all the way when I go to bed and I also watch to make sure the amber light comes on to let me know the card is all the way in. I don't take the SD card out until I get up in the mornings.
Any clue as to what may be happening? I'm going to get a new SD card just in case the one I have is messed up.
Thank you,
Roy
It sounds like the start times are for when you came back and restarted it. When you look at the graphs do you only see that session or do you see both sessions (beforeand after the bathroom break)?
Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?
