There are no shortcuts to cleaning cpap equipment,
but surefire shortcuts to your bank account.
Normal cleaning is more effective, but only needed periodically.
These products are marketed to people so lazy it should be a crime.

People are too trusting sometimes....they believe everything they are told.
Which includes all bugs are bad and will kill you and nuking equals cleaning which of course it doesn't.
Appeals to the lazy side of people.

Or maybe they have a lab in the basement and they actually put the before and after culture medium discs into actual testing and test for the level of pathogens in not nuked vs nuked equipment.

I have never seen proof of a need first of all....and then I have never seen proof that everything was nuked if it was there in the first place.
Them telling me it happened doesn't constitute proof for me. I want facts.
Plus as soon as I touch anything freshly nuked...I just contaminate it immediately with my own bugs anyway...I can't nuke myself.

And I have no desire to invest in a lab to prove or disprove their claims. I got a perfectly good brain full of common sense that can do that and it's free.

But again...whatever floats your boat and lets you sleep well at night I guess is okay to do but ozone is scary crap and can hurt you...so people need to understand its limitations.

Says it very well.

And saves me from carpal tunnel.

....these opinions confirmed my thoughts....I m back to the old methods..once a week clean all with mild soap and water,,dry well...and the eman time I will use my back up hose mask etc and rotate them the next week end....thanks for the good advise...always appreciated..

I'm sure they work for what they say they will do which is sanitize. It won't clean anything though and if you have a build up of nasties who knows if it can sanitize through that whole build up. So for me if I have to clean it anyways and I don't have compromised immune system then it's a waste of money. But to each their own.

Thanks but that doesn't really address my statement.
First I can claim to be an expert too on here and it doesn't mean it's true lol.
Second he simply said it's not same technology as hospitals and that it doesn't clean.
I also said it doesn't clean and only sterilizes and who knows how deep it will sterilize through a build up of gunk.
So his statements even if he was an expert did not refute mine.
I know your better at proving your points then this

Actually not trying to argue to argue on this lol. Point is that even soclean can at least provide 2 "independent" studies proving their claims and absent legitimate studies proving otherwise then just telling me I'm wrong doesn't make it so. You usually provide better sources so I was surprised by the source you provided this time.

You have a *long history* of pointless arguing just for the sake of arguing.

If you'd READ those "independent" studies, you'd realize that they tested filter paper, not real world scenarios.

And, unless you're calling flightco a liar, (and, well, it seems you are), something I've no justification in doing, ... you're just ignoring evidence so that you can argue.
