Humidifier not using water

Post by Brattygirl69 » Sat Sep 14, 2019 1:39 pm

Why would my humidifier not be using hardly any water all night?

Is your humidifier setting set to ON?
What is the setting?
Is the metal humidifier pad getting warm?
What is the humidity in your geographical area?
How old is your machine?
Maybe it's just broken.

Do you really have a standalone humidifier?
The aircurve machine generally comes with one.

The difference in water use my device uses in the summer vs the winter is huge.

Over the last few days, with all the rain and high humidity the water used has been minimal. I'm not careful about where I fill to and typically fill over the maximum line, I refill completely every night (with tap water). A few times this week my water usage hasn't even gone down to the maximum line.

Do you have your profile filled out correctly?
There seems to be some contradictions in the machine you have listed and the separate humidifier you also have listed.
What are your settings?
Do you know how to check them?
Do you have a clinical manual?

You don't need to choose any humidifier in the equipment list because your machine has a built in humidifier.
The H4 you have chosen now is what was used on the old ResMed S8 machines.

!You have used ICOONY instead of TEXT mode, We aren't fifth graders here many of us didn't get that far, so we don't waste time trying to look up equiptment. Often the poster doesn't know what they use. We do need the info, to answer questions. Jim
