PM is stuck in outbox

I apologize if this is not the place to report this, but I can’t contact an administrator by PM because yesterday’s PM is still sitting in my outbox.

I also could not find an email address to notify anyone.

If this post needs to be deleted, that’s fine, but I still need help with my outbox.

PM messages will remain in your out box until the recipient reads it....could be days or weeks.

Are you saying that if I send a PM to someone that it stays in MY outbox until THEY read it? Maybe I don't understand how it works but it seems like if it's still in my outbox then it never got sent to them. At least that's how emails works, but what do I know?

PMs sit in the outbox until they are opened by the person you sent it to...at that moment it then transfers to the Sent box.
It's how we know if someone has read what we sent them.

Might be a little different in other forums but that is the way it is here with this forum software.

If you don't see it in the outbox or the sent box...that's when you know it never got sent.

That clears it up thanks. Btw, would you happen to know why all of the buttons are grayed out on my tool bar, e.g. bold, italics, etc.? Is that a setting or something I don't have the authority to do?

No...you should have access to all the stuff on the forum editor toolbox. No special settings are involved...everyone should get those available by default.

Let me go look in the board preferences to see if some option there accidentally got turned off.

Edit....don't see anything in any of the board preferences that might be the cause...

what happens if you want to change the font size and try to click on the gray area?

May not be just your display....Mine are a light gray color too but they work.
The thought did cross my mind that you thought the light gray meant not active and that is why I asked what happens when you click on one of them.
