Maybe she should not use CPAP on her "tukus".
CPAP is a pain in the . . .
CPAP is a pain in the . . .
On an asthma FB group someone was asking about using CPAP with asthma. Another person responded with the usual "CPAP is a scam" and also complained it is a "pain int eh 'tukus'".

Re: CPAP is a pain in the . . .
If it hurts your butt you are strapping the mask on the wrong orifice.
My mask is annoying at times and yes, I would rather not even use a mask but it has never hurt my butt.
I look at it this way....there's a lot of stuff in life that I have to do that I find annoying....doesn't hurt my butt but annoying nevertheless.
Using cpap is but one of many annoying things I have to do....but at least when I use it I can actually muster up the energy to do the other stuff I find annoying.
I would rather not have to sweep the floor or wash the dishes or do the laundry or mow the yard or whatever.
Using cpap is but one in a long list of stuff that I would rather not do.
I do want to avoid all the potential problems that untreated sleep apnea gives me though. I want to avoid having to get up and pee ever hour on the hour with a painfully full bladder....I want to avoid waking up with killer headaches because my oxygen levels and blood gases got all out of whack....I want to at least try to limit the stress on my heart and all that other stuff.
So I do it...I bitch and whine about it sometimes but I do it. It's annoying yes...but the other stuff I am avoiding is a whole lot more annoying. Just how annoying would a stroke be? Think about it. Think about not being able to use one side of your body or talk or eat...... how much of a pain in the butt/annoyance would that be????
Everyone has a choice....if life gives you lemons you can either make lemonade and enjoy a nice drink or make yourself miserable sucking on plain sour lemons.

Imagine the Horror OMG
BTW , there’s no like button on this forum is there ?
Re: CPAP is a pain in the . . .
Would give a whole new meaning to the aerophagia problem wouldn't it?
No, don't seem to have one. Not sure why unless it's the software that is used. I am on another forum with essentially the same software and it doesn't have a like button either.
I am not a party to the back door behind the scenes software stuff.

Is xPAP therapy used for asthma? I had no idea...
As for it being a scam or not, ask my better 3/4ths if it's worthwhile to absolutely erase my snoring *completely*. Even if it failed to help with my apnea, I'm keeping it just because it has stopped me shaking the rafters.

People complain of flatulence when using CPAP correctly. Imagine how much worse it would be using CPAP this way?
