You can figure out how to make annoying little additions to your typing but you can't figure out how to reduce an image?
It may seem cute to you but it's highly annoying to the rest of us.
How do you speak to people without cutesy crap at your fingertips?

It's too big because you saved the image without modifying the file size. You have to resize it and then save it to your computer.

Is the image you wish to use a photo or something you found on the internet?

I use my iphone most of the time. Do a search of the app store. I downloaded an app called image size. You just put the picture in and it re-sizes the picture for you, in the size you want. I use the default 600 by 600 and that size uploads here just fine.

For photos, reducing the color depth / number of colors can help too. Just be sure to preview that it still looks reasonable.
