Sleep data - how does it look?
Sleep data - how does it look?
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone can see anything of concern here. I've had my machine for 2 nights. Any suggestions? I am very new to what all of this means. Thank you in advance! I do feel like I am sleeping better.

Keep the mask on! Control the leaks...get a mask cushion if necessary! Increase Min pressure to 9!

Were you sleeping between 4pm and 10pm, and again 3am til 9am, or did you quit trying during those times.

Re: Sleep data - how does it look?
It’s great that you’ve started apnea treatment and are already starting to feel better! The experts here can help you do some fine-tuning. It is reasonable to aim at getting your AHI lower, and if you’re willing to approach that in an experimental spirit, I bet you can.
Do you know how to change your minimum pressure, as LSAT has suggested? If not, someone here can help you with that. (Not me, because I have a different kind of machine from yours.)

I think I can up it, and I'm sure I can tolerate it. I do have a cushion on the mask, I just have to keep messing with it to stop leaks and of course I move around when I sleep. The period of 4p.pm. to 10 p.m. is time that I was awake. I took a 2 hour nap that morning. I was up at 3 a.m. until about 7. Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I really appreciate the help! I had gone undiagnosed and having symptoms for about a year and I am really desperate to feel better. My kids need me and I need to step up my work performance!
Re: Sleep data - how does it look?
Do whatever you can to keep your sleep times consistent, but also realistic in that with Cpap you shouldn't expect to get as many hrs as without... which can take people by surprise of course, so going to bed the same time as you used to, or else getting up at the same time, might need to be changed, and that could help what you're seeing now. It might mean either keeping awake (somehow) til a later bedtime... but don't set an alarm unless you really have to as it will force an artificial report of your sleep hours.
Re: Sleep data - how does it look?
Make sure you have the right size mask...With a cushion it should not move around as much as you say. (It would also help to know what mask).jennymar wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 7:49 pmI think I can up it, and I'm sure I can tolerate it. Re: Sleep data - how does it look?
It is Airfit F20 medium. Maybe I should stop sleeping on my side? I got use to this in an attempt to help with the apneas before I got a machine.
Thank you! I will try to limit the naps and see what happens Also, any advise on how to prevent waking up with a very dry mouth? Turn up the humidity maybe? It's on 2 right now.

Re: Sleep data - how does it look?
More humidity might help with the dry mouth and it might not but it is worth trying since the setting of 2 that you are using is a relatively low setting.
