Ah, that clarification is much appreciated!palerider wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 3:46 pmThere are two different s9 vpap adapt machines, the 36037 is the newer and is functionally the same as the aircurve 10 asv, with autoasv and asv modes.
The older 36007 model lacks the autoasv mode, and thus has a fixed epap during treatment.
The REF number on the back is significant, not the dated

Re: RESMED 36037 ADAPT X3 FOR SALE
So what's the difference between the 2013 and 2015?
Re: RESMED 36037 ADAPT all4 SOLD
the 2015 was sold a few minutes ago. the 2015 and 2013 are the same as far as i know or could tell, but the 2015 has higher number for SW software.

The difference is that they were made in different years.love2sleep69 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 12:18 pmSorry, how do you mean by "higher number for SW software"?

I am thinking you mean higher machine use hours reported for the 2015? Anyway, I am extremely interested in the 2013. I've sent you a PM.love2sleep69 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 12:18 pmSorry, how do you mean by "higher number for SW software"?
Re: RESMED 36037 ADAPT X2 FOR SALE
There is really no difference between a machine built in 2013 and 2015, if the model numbers are the same, that we as end users would ever know or see.
The internal software'/firmware versions would probably be different but we as end users wouldn't know what changes were made internally with the newer software. Typically very minor bug fixes are all that ever occurred. No major changes that we as end users would see though...no difference in data being reported or anything like that. It's not like the 2015 model will report something that the 2013 model won't report.
Some people just have a "thing" about newer models...and some people care more about how many hours a machine has been used.
That's really all there is to the difference. It just depends on which kind of person you are...want the absolute latest even with more hours or maybe a little older in terms of physical age and internal firmware but less hours of use.

Re: RESMED 36037 ADAPT X2 FOR SALE
No, he meant SW version numbers. New machines in terms of manufacturing dates will typically have newer firmware/software installed in them and newer numbers are always higher numbers.love2sleep69 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 12:55 pmI am thinking you mean higher machine use hours reported for the 2015?
A 2015 machine of any kind will have a higher Software/firmware version installed on it than a 2013 model of the same model.
It's just the way it is done with any brand.

Thanks for clearing it up, Pugsy.
Re: RESMED 36037 ADAPT X3 FOR SALE
shipping to Canada, never done it, but i guess it is okay. usps says $65 and change for a $250 item with a 6-8 day travel time to Toronto. a $300 item would be close to that price, too. do you have any suggestions on shipping? and where in Canada?love2sleep69 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 12:55 pmI am thinking you mean higher machine use hours reported for the 2015?
