Re: New Guy...Questions. New issues.
Is it possible to tape the hose to the mask in a way that doesn't interfere with anything. That would make it more difficult to simply unhook the hose.

Re: Vinny's therapy Thread 3rd sleep Doc
so after lackluster visit with a sleep Dr i waited almost 2 months to see ( info posted above) and getting no answers except she wants me tested in her lab and possibly put on a Bi level machine.
i went to see my 3rd doctor, I really liked her, the visit lasted over an hour and she asked tons of questions and answered lots of mine, we went over my sleepy head printouts as well as some of the screenshots i took and loaded onto my tablet.
unlike the other DR. she got my information off my SD card and went over it also.
she gave me tons of information, advice and explanations.
lots of the information she gave matched the advice I have gotten here especially from Pugsy.
she agreed with Pugsy that nothing I presented in my information or complaints warrant changing to a Bi Level machine.
she told me based on my data that the therapy is being done but time and adding to my amount of sleep are most vital.
I told her how on days I get more sleep like 6-7+ I feel worse that days I get only 4-5 hours so i have been getting my self up and trying not to sleep longer, She said that the way I am feeling is normal since my brain has in essence adapted to life with only a few hours sleep and has to slowly get readjusted to more sleep, ( she recommended trying to add 30 min a week)
She also agreed with my new Primary Dr. that this is more than just sleep apnea happening, something else may be happening at night to make me feel the way i do.. so there is some detective work to do.
She is going to have her mask fitting team contact me about leak issues and making sure I am properly fitted and wearing the best mask for my face ( i told her I didn't really have a say in the mask from the DME)
I really like her and hope I can begin to improve... at least she answered my questions and i can help myself better.
Thanks for the help you guy's have offered as well.
