I have been using a ResMed machine (automatically adjusts to apneas) for a month now with a nasal mask.
Sleep is poor yet the download shows I am having apneas (4-5 per hr) and air pressure is adjusting to same.
Changing to full mask this weekend to see if a difference.
Sometimes I stop using it as exhausted and resort to my mouthguard (Ive used a mouthguard for a year now).
how long has it taken people to adjust to the machine and sleep to improve?
Exhaustion is unreal not helped by long work commute and only able to work from home one day per week
thank you

Re: New user advice
4-5 an hour would make me feel like crap.
Auto machines still have to be tuned.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?
Re: New user advice
welcome to the zoo! in order to help you out, the experts here are going to need some info from you. this is because, while there are similarities in how we sleep, we are just different enough so that advice that's good for me won't necessarily be good for thee.GilligP wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2019 4:51 amI have been using a ResMed machine (automatically adjusts to apneas) for a month now with a nasal mask.
