I was 10 years with Philips Auto CPAP Remstar. But it doesnt work well. The seller says that I need a new cpap every 5 years.
I have some dissapointment with this apap. The user cannt calibrate the preasure in any way. Someone give me a Googknight 420G for few days , and in the menu there is an option to calibrate preasure.
Some doubts come to me with a new autocpap to buy. How can I calibrate by myself the apap specially when airfilter is reducing the airflow and probably the way that C-Flex works.
Should I go to a bipap for better quality sleep?
There another brands more user-friendly?
Thank you
New Autocpap
Re: New Autocpap
Welcome to the forum.
All these machines, including the one you have now, have the ability for the user to change any of the various settings. You just need to know the secret handshake (combination of button pushing) to access that special menu.
Go here and read up on it.

Re: New Autocpap
Yes I know, I changed my remstar pressures manually in the secret menu , but not calibration method allowed (only for the brand service) or diagnosis (code error) in his menu either .
Re: New Autocpap
No modern cpap is able to be calibrated by the user, and no modern cpap *needs* to be calibrated.forum33 wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2019 3:00 pmI was 10 years with Philips Auto CPAP Remstar. But it doesnt work well. The seller says that I need a new cpap every 5 years.

The filter doesn't matter, at least, not until it's clogged full of dirt.
Modern cpaps measure the pressure at the outlet, and adjust over 100 times a second (exact frequency varies between manufacturers.
