Hi I saw a link for a new kind of cpap mask

Has anyone tried it any reviews

I was curious since I already use a night guard.

It's been around for years (at least 10 that I know about) but it was never hugely popular.
There's been some old discussion in the past on the forum from a few people but you will have to search for it.

Now there a different model that uses a mouth guard that people liked a lot and some people are still using it today.

I personally used it for well over a year. It's a nice little mask.

Have not used this specific mask, but have successfully used the other newer similar one Pugsy mentioned. If you do decide to go that route, it would be a good idea to read up on it to avoid some newbie mistakes. When folks say to jiggle the mouthpiece when fitting, believe them. First time I didn't jiggle it enough and it hardened too tight. Was holding hot water in my mouth to soften it enough to get it out. It does not have to be super tight to be secure enough. You do want to make sure there is nothing about your dental situation that would preclude you from using the mask. I found it superbly stable and virtually leak free. Only downside was drooling, but you said you're already using a mouthpiece.

Thanks

I do use a mouth piece. I bite very hard and go through lots every year...this may not be a good choice for me to try

Do you recommend any specific mouth piece? Thanks in advance.

The TapPap mouth guard is VERY sturdy once it cools down after the molding to your teeth process is completed.
Not soft at all...it's not going to be easy to break with just biting or grinding of the teeth. I used the same mouth guard for over a year ...now admittedly I am not a grinder but if it interests you at all...give it a try...It comes with a 30 day money back guarantee.

I like that this mask has no headgear.

Any other mask that has no mouthpiece and no headgear besides bleep?

Not that I have ever found. It's been what I have ultimately wanted for 10 years and why I used the TapPap for a period of time.
The only reason I ended up with the P10 over the TapPap was about the time the P10 came out I was having a problem with a back molar...totally unrelated to the mouth guard and not even touching the mouth guard and until I got that problem fixed (root canal) I used the P10. Finally got the tooth fixed and could have gone back to the mouth guard TapPap but was just lazy and the headgear for the P10 was good enough to satisfy me so I just kept using it.

The TapPap is nice little mask. I would wake up in the morning and be laying in bed breathing and actually not even notice either the mouth guard or the cpap machine itself.
