Smart docs start conservative and give the body time to fix itself before extensive testing and heavy artillery that may cause collateral damage.

Blaming the CPAP seems at the low end of "conservative".

"Dunno; could be."

Not to ruin anyone's fun, but I believe that may be considered a common misattribution.
According to The Veterinarian (Monthly Journal of Veterinary Science) for 1851, edited by Mr. Percivall, this is Ben Jonson's "satirical definition of physic".--https://en.m.wikiquote.org/wiki/Voltaire#Misattributed

And a well-trained doc knows that if the patient believes a ceremonial cleansing of equipment may result in a cure, few placebos are that safe.

Couldn't hurt my fun. seen it a dozen times on Google. I came across on the British T.V. series, Dr. Monroe, a brain dr, one of his favorites. Did find https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6025563/, not a Vet paper, but I'm not PAPER trained!jnk... wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 8:17 pmNot to ruin anyone's fun, but I believe that may be considered a common misattribution.

Yep. VERY common. Yet, . . .
. . . attributed to Voltaire from the end of the 19th century, but probably apocryphal; earlier versions are generally anonymous, -- http://www.oxfordreference.com/view/10. ... 5-00011218

Re: foul ashy smell everywhere
while *I* am definitely NOT a fan of faux clean,
I do adore (and partake frequently in) all sorts of CEREMONIAL CLEANSING ...
I love rain water, salt, sea water, fire, petals and leaves, smoke, fruit ... and many other ritual objects ~~~
I am never as happy as when I am involved in a ritual / ceremonial cleansing of some sort, in both the physical and the spiritual realm ...
Personally, I would start "foul ashy" cleansing with other smokes and incense ... (natural, not synthetic), and then move to sunlight, then salt, then leaves, then petals ... eventually getting to waters and finally any oils or natural "scents" like peppermint.
~~~all done with intention and prayer ~~~
I welcome the power of placebo
Yep, Read that, but I couldn't find anyone living back then to confirm who it was. Maybe they needed News T.V. to pass the truth, you know like our news media does.
