Should look great accessorizing your silver hair (formerly red).

EEEEK SNAKE!
Very nice.
Might stop the cats eating it, but you won't get my horse to go past that snake!

Our weapon of choice is either a hoe or a rifle, whichever is handiest at the time. Usually a hoe is at hand in the garden.
Unless you had a long handled hammer you would need to get too close for safety.

Had a rattlesnake try to come in the door once when we lived out on acreage in the middle of nowhere. Shot the snake but also shot the water line below it

now I grab a shovel.

Haha. Just trying to stop the noise of the hose itself. I doubt it will stop my hose eating dog.

this is an idea suggested here by forum member jay aitchsee-

it helps me to keep my mouth closed and breath through my nose. i've made a few modifications on jay's system, customizing it, if you will, to suit my hard to close mouth!

as you can see, i also use a foam cervical collar. just using these two devices, what i call "my rig", has lowered my AHI over 1 point.
Is that really you, Zonker? Not at all how I pictured you

Some of our garden netting has the habit of trapping snakes & killing them.
We are dog sitting our neighbor's rat terrier and he decided to "kill" the already dead snake.

They'd never recognize you in that "get-up." Would not match any of the FBI's mug shots. Quite clever actually.

You all inspired me. I haven't crocheted in probably 15-20 years but I decided I wanted a pink hose cover. Lol
I don't crochet very well but I may have to learn to do this myself. Thank you for the idea.

You're welcome.

. It is super easy. I used single crochet on the short hose and I used a double crochet on the longer one. The longer one was easier because I googled how to do a tube so rather than doing it the long way and then crocheting it together I went in a circle right from the start.
