Insist on actually seeing the run hours.
Here's a conversation I had with somebody selling a
Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset for Her on Letgo.com.
He lost his crap when I asked about the run hours, he then then blocked me.

JEEEEE-pers! no, nothing to hide there.
I know, what an ass he is.
It's still for sale. I feel like creating a second LetGo account with a temp email. Then make arrangements to meet him, and not show up. See how long I can string him a long.

The hoses act a lot like the finger handcuffs we played with as a kid, don't pull hard on the connection, wiggle it side to side while pulling. I get new hoses for the XPAP, if you plan on reusing the short small hose just clean it if you want. Jim
Thanks Jim.
I wiggled and I pulled but those hose were just fused together. Almost like they were baked? I'm suspecting maybe they were thrown in to a dishwasher.
I never planned on reusing the hoses but I wanted to try the mask for a lark particularly because it has two sets of pillows that are sealed and new. I had to slip a knife in ... (which was difficult they were so fused) ... and cut the hose off the mask.
I actually still haven't tried the mask or the machine. I turned it on and it blew but I haven't decontaminated and cleaned it yet.
I hope I am never handcuffed by the Chinese. If so I'd have little hope of escaping.

Began XPAP May 2016. Autoset Pressure min. 8 / max 15. Ramp off. ERP set at 2. No humidity. Sleepyhead software installed and being looked at daily, though only beginning to understand the data.

Might try heating the hose connection with a hair dryer, or become a Surgeon on the rubber connector. Jim

Anyway ... I doubt I'll reuse these hoses but I'm baffled that I can't get them to come apart of come off the mask? At the connection between the hoses is a completely clear connector but I don't know if it's a separate piece or part of one of the two hoses? It makes that connection totally swivel between the two hoses.
*ALL* the hoses end in a soft rubbery end, if there's any hard plastic in that, it's part of a mask, and must be removed before you put a different mask on the hose.
