Disconnecting right port
Twisted arms 180 degrees. Aha. Silent. So, there is a difference here
As far as I can tell, there's no difference, keeping the little arms lined up with the guide bumps just makes it so that the plastic clips are less scratchy if they hit your lip...

I bet that if you'd just disconnected and reconnected, it'd have been silent... (at least, that's how it works for me).
With further science - (I can out alien your aliens) it would appear I have a non-symmetrical plastic clip. And a symmetrical one.

Manufacturing discrepancies ?

I assume so. Its not easy to make lots of little things all the same shape. That is why lego bricks cost so much.

One of the little clips doesn't look quite identical to the other one. Ever so slight of a difference and near as we can tell the leak (which is very small but annoying) seems to be coming from that area outward at a 90 degree angle.
We have some other experiments to try and we will also get some replacement clips sent out just in case.
Won't hurt to try some other experiments anyway while awaiting the new clips.

At her pressures everything little thing becomes a big thing unfortunately.

This is exactly what Stuart told me when I asked him about the alignment nubs. Keeps the arms off of the lips.

Last night.

Sleepyhead is not importing, so I got a resscan.

I lashed the port into the leaky clip, and had a leak free night. I woke rather violently with gastric reflux - that is no fun when your mouth is firmly taped!

All in all, I would say the aliens must have been busy with Zonker.

that DOES turn out to be the case. bloody b*stards thought it would be funny to throw in some centrals just for giggles. had an ahi of 1.89 last night and woke with a slight headache.

thank you SO much for sending them my way! <shakes fist>

It wasn't me! I will happily have them back if I can wake less violently in the morning - I can still taste this morning's arousal!

They got both me and djams last night too. The leak monster visit my house while the aerophagia alien was visiting djams. This was all started by Pugsy.

Nothing worse. For me, the PAP pressure transfers some of that reflux into my lungs which causes an extended coughing fit. I feel you here. Yuk!

Congrats on that leak line! :D
