For Kaiser, that is exactly the case. Kaiser is the DME and Aprea handles the logistics. They still suck, but at least the suck doesn't suck directly out of your wallet.

Yes, you are correct that Kaiser is your DME, but Crapria still does the billing for what they supply and my experience was that they consistently delivered something different than what was ordered (i.e. regular tubing instead of "performance" tubing) and billing was ALWAYS incorrect. So yes, they "suck directly out of your wallet." I filed complaints against Crapria with Kaiser, Kaiser concluded Crapria was right and I was wrong and threatened to send me to collections if I didn't pay up. I paid small bills just because it was sick to death of dealing with them. And months later got refunds, because "whoops, there were billing errors."
We're talking hours on the phone getting crappy treatment. Cost me hundreds of dollars if I could bill them for my time.
I did a little happy dance when my new ACA plan did not cover CPAP supplies. I buy my own online with no hassle, and to me, that's worth way more than having to pay only a small co-pay on covered items through Crapria.

I have been using Crapria for years. I am not sure but I think they got an order right once. It helps when I go to their local branch and pick up the supplies. I can inspect the order and get it corrected before I leave, IF they happen to have what I actually ordered.
I have had them refuse to provide specific items. The most recent is the dishwasher safe water chamber for my Aircurve 10 ASV. I even figured out why. They get paid by the code same payment for dishwasher safe as for standard, why would they provide the better option.
Well it's time for me to order my Crapria supplies now.

I sent an email to the manager at my local Crapria branch to place my order, since they seldom answer the phone at the branch. The email bounced back as undeliverable. So I called the 800 number and I was told the Sleepweaver 3D they had been providing for the past year was no longer available. So I called Circadiance to ask why they discontinued the 3D. They said they have 24 in stock ready to ship. And suggested other suppliers that might take my insurance.
So Crapria is as dependable as always.
