When you do try the Swift FX (or whatever nasal pillow mask you have)...remember that they rest gently on the outside of your nostrils.
Nothing goes inside the nostril for you to feel on the inside. The ONLY part is the tiny inner cone that just goes barely up inside your nose and it should NEVER touch the inside of your nose anywhere. If it does you either have the wrong size pillow or too much tension on the straps pulling the pillow up inside the nose. You shouldn't be feeling anything from the pillow inside the nose at all.

I just checked. It is a swift FX, a medium. This is good to know, nothing in the nostrils! I’ll wear it during the day and see if it fits.

That’s too bad about the straps not working . The straps on the DW full face fit GREAT, I wish it would be the same for the nasal cushion.

Tried the FX. It was really tough to exhale. I kept moving f it around and finally got it to where I could exhale effortlessly, but it seems like a small window of error there!

Is that because the plugs were in my nose?

Probably didn't have it fitted quite right.

Take the pillow all by itself ...not attached to anything.....and put it up against your nostrils and breathe in and out.
Properly fitted when it is attached it should be close to that easy.
It might be that you would do better with the large size...the inside volume allows for a little more air movement making it easier to exhale.

Do check out the Bleep...nothing actually inside the nose at all...no head gear....great air movement quality.

Question about clocks springing forward. I noticed that my Sleepyhead data was off by an hour, for the last two nights. Do I have to change something manually in my machine? I just can't imagine that. Or might it be a sleepyhead glitch? Anyone else's data off by 1 hour?

There is a clock in the ResMed machines that you will need to reset to reflect the change to DST.
You could also try turning on the DST (check the box) in the SH profile but I found that doing that didn't always fix it for me.
The clock is down in the menu area where run hours and software version is.
Be careful to not mess with the date/calendar because it can create quite a mess if you change the date too....been there and done that myself.

The machine's clock doesn't change for this silly daylight savings time.

Many people just ignore the hour difference.

I think my new Bleep has a leak! It seems like more air is blowing out around the base of the interface (where the vents are) that should be, though I can't figure out exactly where the air is coming from. It could be where the tube connects to the interface OR where the nasal ports connect, OR where the two parts come together. I know I'm not describing this very well. Bottom line is, it makes a lot of noise, and I have to giggle it around to quiet down. I'm not sure what my problem is. But, I shouldn't have all this leakage, right? The chart proves it is leaking. Everyone else seemed to have no leaking. Here's last night. First night was similar leakage. Do you think I have a dud?

One other small issue is rain out. My humidity is set to auto. I have snaked my hose under the covers, but I can't cover my face. I have condensation in the interface, on the first night, it went up my nose. I will just keep turning up the heat in the room I guess.

If you can hear air noise immediately...something isn't lined up right. Happened to me last night.
Plugged in ports securely checked first...wasn't that...what it was happened to be I didn't have the little arm thingies situated between the little dots on the cushion part of the mask. The little part that the port attaches to that sits on top of the soft silicone...it swivels a bit but those little arms that hand down have to be inside of the 2 little raised bumps. When not inside the little dot/bumps...the top part that attaches to the port can move around too much and that will let leak happen. Probably why sometimes it stopped when you pressed on it and then it came back.
Go back and review Jason's video and pay special attention to when he discusses those little dots and the arm thingies.

You may need to take the hose air temp off auto and switch to manual and increase the hose air temp just a little. That's what I have had to do with any of my nasal pillow masks during the winter. Auto works fine until the bedroom gets colder in the winter and then auto doesn't quite keep the hose air temp warm enough.

I'm not certain if I should be posting these questions here or in the Bleep review thread. Let me know if I need to move them over.

I've been diligently trying to get my bleep to not leak, two clicks, aligned arms, air blowing only in the right area, etc. My numbers are definitely moving in the right direction. I am able to sleep well with it now that I've gotten used to the stiff hose coming straight down off my nose.

BUT, the only problem I keep having is my leaks are always so big. There is so much green. Does this look like mouth breathing or my mask leaking? I AM taping my mouth, but the tape is porous and I can breath through it if my lips part slightly. I notice everyone else's sleepyhead reports don't look like this on the leak line, so what do you think gives? One other bit of information to help with the detective work, I was taping my mouth too with my dreamwear and NEVER got leaks anything remotely like this. Wait, maybe that is because my mouth was still sealed inside the mask. Duh....! That probably isn't useful information after all. Thank you for the assistance ! I'm still wondering if I have a lemon. But I can't really tell.

If you are....shrug your shoulders and move on. It's not enough to mess with. Those are teeny tiny leaks...they look more impressive than they are because of the scale shown.....well under 10 L/min for the most part and obviously well within the machine's ability to compensate.

But just to make sure you don't have a lemon...let's do a test while awake...right before bedtime tonight if you can so you don't have to burn a set of ports.

Attach everything...make sure you aren't experiencing any leaks from anywhere that you can hear or feel (other than the vent of course).
Use the mask while awake, sitting up, watching TV or reading for 30 minutes. You will be awake so you will know if your mouth is closed or not.
Let's look at the leak line for that 30 minutes.

At some point to put a copy of this post over in the Bleep review thread or a link back to this post....Stuart is watching the review thread and the only way he learns about people's responses and/or issues is when he reads about them. He cares. He won't know to look over here in this thread.

Mask Pressure OR pressure, (preferably pressure) not both please. They're redundant at a full night zoom, and cause the other charts to be unnecessarily squished.

BUT, the only problem I keep having is my leaks are always so big.

Where? You might notice that the y axis autoscales, look at the legend.
