Resmed S9 Vpap Auto Setup Help

Post by DesertMax » Thu Feb 28, 2019 3:45 pm

Hi guys, I have had both types of SA for years now and had this machine entire time.
My disease has been up and down so have not used the machine the whole time
but really struggling now. Way back in 2010 or so when I first got this machine,
the sleep tech said that I could achieve "glorious" and I actually witnessed this
amazing phenomenon just once. I was visiting my sister and sleeping on her
couch, woke up about 2 AM and felt better than any time in my life. I cannot
describe it but it was very real. I went back to sleep and never achieved it again!
These days I can't do without my machine but need to try to dial in some adjustments
in order to get that feeling again. I know the machine is helping but the truth is,
I do not really feel any better day to day. Still a zombie! Any help appreciated.
Also, I have the H5i hooked up with the machine and a heated tube.

We can't help you until we can at minimum see the data from your machine. Take the time to read and comprehend the link provided to you, as well as any other stickied threads on the forum about how to format and share your SleepyHead data here. Then make a follow up post.

Your response would have been to put your equipment in your profile, download sleepyhead, post your graphs and make an attempt to describe how you're feeling.

Failing that, all I can suggest to help you achieve that glorious feeling, is to move in with your sister and start sleeping on her couch again.

Hi guys, I have had both types of SA for years now and had this machine entire time.
hey, max and welcome to the forum. please do as palerider suggests and read the post he linked to. each of us is different in how sleep apnea affects us. and we each can have different machines and different masks and even different combinations thereof.

so the experts need to know a lot of information about you. once you have read the post he linked to, you can start giving us the info needed to help you on your journey. when they know the particulars of your situation, they can provide you with advice tailor made to help you.

without that info, all that can be offered is guesswork.

please help us help you.

good luck!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.
