Sani bot
I have been looking through the boards and see that lots of folks like the SoClean/Lumin sanitizers and The Hurricane CPAP Equipment Dryer, but I haven’t found anything about the Sani bot. I know they are on model D3 with D3x and D6 coming soon... other than having to purchase tablets are there any downsides? Is it worth the money?
Re: Sani bot
First of all you won't find that "lots of folks like the SoClean/Lumin" here on this forum.
For the most part most of us wouldn't want one if it were free.
There are a few members who purchased one or the other and are happy campers. Hey..it's their money and they are certainly free to buy whatever they want.
I had never heard of the Sani bot...so I did look it up.

Final comment says it all IMHO

Would I buy one?
No, no I would not.

No, pretty much nobody likes the soclean/lumen, at least nobody that's not scared/suckered by their deceptive advertisements.strwberri2 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:56 pmI have been looking through the boards and see that lots of folks like the SoClean/Lumin sanitizers and The Hurricane CPAP Equipment Dryer, but I haven’t found anything about the Sani bot. The 'sanibot' looks like it's just a grossly overpriced ultrasonic cleaner... which might actually *clean* something. But if you wanted to play with that, why not save a bunch of money:

Btw, reviews on that page are suspect: https://reviewmeta.com/amazon/B01MXZLXY0

Nothing beats plain old soap and water--or baby wipes, or vinegar.
No device will replace ordinary elbow grease.
These devices prey on the ignorant, lazy, gullible or dangerously phobic.
Don't be a "mark".

In all fairness... ultrasonic cleaners *work*... they're a proven technology.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Wed Feb 27, 2019 12:45 amNothing beats plain old soap and water--or baby wipes, or vinegar.

That 'sanibot' thing is a ripoff in price though.

My hearing aid conditioner (Perfect Dry Lux) is ultrasonic; but at forty clams, not a ripoff.
Those little boxes add years to the life of a hearing aid.
