(though I am still miffed about the cookies).
I ate your cookies tonight. You loved them.
I have a stress headache and I need a chocolate fix to try to help me get rid of the stress headache.
Homemade chocolate chip cookies....you loved them. I ate two of them in your honor.  Still hot...fresh out of the oven.
Doesn't get any better than that.

Sorry... :D
You're making me hungry.

Btw both pugsy and pr my Ahi was down to .9 the night before last and .4 last night. Looks like epap 10 was the magic unicorn pressure for me. 5 more days to go to know for sure but warm fuzzies for both of you.

Well yes...as a matter of fact I do...let me go start a suitable voodoo doll construction and see if I can pass it along to someone I feel is much more deserving.  Good idea...thank you.

Unfortunately, the only person I knew who said she knew voodoo .... er, died, under mysterious circumstances a while ago. (not kidding).

You talking about Vivian (49er) or someone else???
Vivian got her voodoo skills from me...I taught her everything I knew and she was quite good at it.
Especially the ones with baseball players names on them. She would do the dolls for the Cardinals when they played the Nats and I would do the same to the Nats.

don't we all know someone who we'd like to give a headache

Pugsy I appreciate you giving your time and effort to welcome me, despite the ongoing personal issues that are giving you a headache. I'm sorry your first cpap board ignored you - their loss. I definitely appreciate all the wisdom you have shared on these boards, and hear you on everyone having their role to play here, and that this forum plays an important role in treatment support/education/giving people an outlet to pay things forward and share what they've learned.

And PR - yes, success stories always appreciated! I'm glad to hear someone (with beautiful dogs no less) is doing well with getting their settings right. gives me hope that there is some tweak that can do the same or similar for me!

Anyway, Palerider and Pugsy - you both have definitely helped me clear up all those centrals, and for that I will be eternally grateful. My sleep doctor is really busy right now, and I can't imagine how long I would have suffered trying to call his office and get an appointment and be a 'good patient' if I hadn't decided to post, and twiddling my thumbs in misery, just waiting to see if things would have cleared up on that very high level of pressure support. That is something to celebrate!

that definitely calls for cookies for everyone!

No, I never knew Vivian, except on the forum.

This was a good friend of mine, Ricki, (really named Aretha, but everybody called her Ricki, I think because a young relative couldn't pronounce Aretha... and the name stuck). I worked along side her in two different jobs. She eventually moved back to her home in the US Virgin Islands.

Ricki was a retired Lieutenant Commander from the Navy.. I *think* she'd been in the Naval Space Command when she retired... but I'm not certain.

She was a very short lady, one of the stories she liked to tell (you know these military people and their stories), was that when she was at the academy, they had to cut down her sabre, because she'd be doing sword drills and TWAAAANG... it'd be sticking in the deck.

I miss her.

Some have, so far my interactions outside the forum are limited to phone calls and emails, and packages sent and received.., though that is probably going to change, since I discovered that djams lives just down the street from me.

Most people haven't taken stalking to that level....

ah well you and Djams can have cookies

I was more imagining if people managed to meet at AWAKE or other support group meetings. I read of a group where machines get calibrated (not titrated as I wrote earlier, whoops!), people can try out different masks, and ask respiratory techs questions, etc. but alas, even in my huge city, there is no support group. Or to his credit, my doctor started an AWAKE support group, but when I went to the site to find out where meetings were held, there hadn't been one in a couple of years I think. If you meet at a support group for sleep apnea, it's not stalking I would imagine...
