Looking for a 90 degree connector...

Post by nomad » Fri Nov 17, 2006 8:41 pm

I'm looking for a 90 degree connector to hook up between the top of my humidifier and the hose. The space I keep it in is a tight fit with the hose connected to the top of it (sticks straight up before bending back over).

I've looked on cpap.com, but didn't see it. Did I just miss it? Thanks.

I checked with cpap.com to see if they has a 90-degree connector......and they had nothing to offer. Remstar M apap has one that is a standard part of the hose assembly....it attaches to the output port of the M-series.

I'm looking for one myself.....I want to hook it to a Breeze mask......and I'l eventually find someone who has it. The part number is listed on the Remstar M-series factory site.

Hope this helps....Let us know if you find a source.

Have you tried Home Depot or Lowes? I would think that any hardware store with a plumbing section might have something that would work.

My Aussie heated hose from Sleep Zone came with one. It works great, it is not a swivel like the M series. The M series swivel is only a 45 degree elbow, wished it was 90 degrees. Guess they are afraid it will cause too much restriction being a 90.

I've been using the Aussie one on the back and it seems to work better, allows me to move machine closer to wall.

HEY Johnny/CPAP.COM how about carrying some 90 degree swivel elbows, if you cannot get the swivel then the non-swivel version would work.

Den's link goes to a post with this comment and picture in it:

Handy cheap little item to prolong the life of the rubber cuff of the air hose. No more struggle trying to work the cuff on and off the humidifier:
