Whip out your smart phone, and compare to online prices.
Sometimes shopping local is an option; but it is not the only one.
Especially for medical items, where local markups are unconscionably large.
At times, a forum member has tried the item you seek
, and a happy medium can be found.
The forum sponsor (cpap.com) may even have the new item at a better price.

Re: Wow at DME are $80 cpap pillows worth it ?
Be aware that the DME, price is fantasy billing. The only suckers who pay that much are the uninsured who don’t research other options. The insurance company May be billed $88 for nasal pillows but by contract they will decide the nasal pillows might be worth $20 and then pay 80% of that. You may only have to pay your 20% share the insurer thinks is a reasonable price, or if you haven’t met your deductible, then the whole of the insurer’s price, not the fantasy billing. Never pay if insured until you see your insurer’s EOB.
If you are uninsured, buyer beware. II

Which kind of pillows?
Silicone (for the mask), or contoured bed pillows?
Nasal pillows--ridiculous prices.
Bed pillow--still a bit high, but you can do better.

dreamware ! Is it sad I want to go to sleep now to try it out ?

Yes I am high pressure and I tried mask fit at full pressure. We will see how it goes tonight when I am laying down on my very old, squished pillow.
No the pillows were not like those listed. The less expensive was similar to the one pictured below but the more expensive on was really ajustable so you could use sitting up or laying down. A quick google didn't show me anything like it.

Re: Wow at DME are $80 cpap bed pillows, for sleeping on worth it ?
I found the pillow below on the Fresno Craig's List for $20.00 and received it three day ago. I like it. It's new. I got good service and see they are still on CL. I have been using a buckwheat filled pillow, which I like too; just thought I'd try the new one at that low price--3rd night tonight.
Re: Wow at DME are $80 cpap bed pillows, for sleeping on worth it ?
I've never seen the point in spending a lot of money for a "cpap" pillow. I just sleep near enough to the edge of my plain pillow so that it doesn't push on the mask.
