Hi,
I’m waking up multiple times each night with beads of water in my tube. It obstructs the airflow and makes an annoying bubbling noise. I put the humidifier on it’s lowest, but it doesn’t help. Might it be because I have an unheated tube?

Yes, a heated hose will help prevent the moist air from condensing. The term used for your condition is called rainout. It is when the water condenses from the air on its way thru the tube. Make sure your machine is lower than your head. Water cannot naturally travel uphill.

See posts number 2 and 3 for various options for dealing with condensation/rain out in the mask or hose.

Yes, the heated tube is a good idea.
Also, make sure you have "automatic" humidification set, rather than "manual." This should prevent too much humidity from being generated (based on conditions).
Last, but not least, make sure that the CPAP machine is lower than your head.

If you do buy a heated hose, which is an awesome thing to have, you might also consider running a "warmup" cycle each morning after emptying your humidifier chamber.
That's a good way to dry out both the chamber and the tube so that they don't harbor any unwelcome life forms.
