AHI is 15-20 each night mainly Clear Airway

I asked how long you had been receiving treatment to see if you were a new user, as you are not then this is not treatment emergent CA’s. Have you just got this machine ? Do you live at altitude ? What were you using before ?

For this machine I have only had it about 2 months, the doctor thought my old machine may not be working because I was still getting AHI over 10 with pressure 8-16. He said the machine could be "wonky". I'm set to see him in a few weeks.

Last night I turned off the EPR and the clear airways were cut in half. I'll keep an eye on it.

One thing I have noticed is that even during the day I catch myself not breathing. I'm not sure if this is related or just coincidence.

I think most of us (and I don't just mean OSA patients) stop breathing for moments during the day all the time for various reasons, but now that you're conscious of it, you're suddenly aware of every time you do it (or don't do it). Try to relax a bit, find something else - during the day - to worry about, to focus on, and stop monitoring how you breathe or you'll drive yourself nuts .

Great your making progress, one thing with central apnoea i suffer from it. The numbers can be very variable with the same settings one night my AHI was 1.2 and no centrals... no change and the next night the AHI was 32. I am now using an ASV machine to treat my CA’s on a breath by breath basis

Awake breathing is *very* irregular, but unless you're paying attention to it, you don't notice.

All this focus on your night breathing is making you be more aware of your breathing when awake... that's probably all it is.
