I think most of the people looking to try So Clean are doing so because they don't like the idea of cleaning their equipment. So Clean's instructions indicate that the equipment should be pre cleaned before sanitizing. That defeats the purpose for most people. I have no doubt that it does a great job sanitizing, but for most people that is not necessary....periodic cleaning is all that is needed and recommended by the manufacturer.

Another "no" and "no". I'm with the soap and water folks and replacing filters when they need replacing. I like keeping the dough in savings. If SoClean was something that we need, don't you think our health insurance would cover it? But we don't and they don't and that pretty much answers all questions.

I think the SoClean company might be preying on CPAP newbies. That's not nice.

I knew I would get "put down" when I posted my success story with using SoClean 2! Seems like you all consider yourselves to be "experts" in the field of medicine! Get a life and quit harassing the new users! Grow up folks! Respect others even if you have differences of opinions! Glad none of you are on my pulmonary support team!
But yet you decided to "poke the bear"........
Seems like you're a hypocrite. You don't respect OUR opinions but we're supposed to respect YOURS??? Yeah, RIIIIIIIGHT!

Many of us have been using this therapy for many years. During that time we've become knowledgeable about it and how to pinch pennies and save dollars. Personally, I have other, more worthwhile, things to spend my money on. At some point, it's obvious what are scams and what are beneficial things to invest in. When you have to actually CLEAN the items BEFORE you place them in the device that is advertised as a "cleaning machine"........that's a big tip-off that it's a rip-off. Then, when you have to buy replacement parts on a schedule, that's not cost effective either.

Good luck with your therapy.

My pleasure! Just below the "post reply" button at bottom of thread list, there's a wrench with a drop down. You'll find relief there. :)

Respect has to be *earned*, and your childish insults of *get a life* and "grow up" are not worthy of respect, they are worthy of ridicule.

Your baseless opinion has been thoroughly refuted in the past:

The fact that breathing even small amounts of ozone can seriously damage your lungs isn't an opinion. You might wanna tell your "pulmonary support team" that you're using a "cleaning" device that emits ozone and when you wear your mask, you're likely breathing in some amount of it - because it "smells" good.

When inhaled, ozone can damage the lungs. Relatively low amounts can cause chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath and throat irritation. Ozone may also worsen chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma and compromise the ability of the body to fight respiratory infections.

But hey, keep on keeping on, natural selection and all. You do you boo-boo.

I'm pretty sure that 'unsubscribe' doesn't actually hide posts/threads, you can 'subscribe' to a thread, and get notified when there are new posts in the thread.

It'd be awesome if it was a way to hide crap threads... but I'm pretty sure it's not that cool..

somewhere in your profile you can turn off 'auto subscribe' to threads... and you can turn off subscription notifications. (I think they're usually done via email.. or at least, used to be.).

I find it interesting that all the anti SoClean posters who want you to think they have some sort of holier than thou marketing moral fiber or supreme knowledge about keeping their equipment as bacteria free as feasible think nothing about calling a customer of one of such products a shill, sucker or worse. Perhaps they have nothing better to do with their time. Perhaps they are disgruntled x employees. Maybe they work for P and G? Who knows? But they are not being helpful, only hurtful and are not helpful to anyone. Hey, there is a hot new product for your gang to attack. It’s called the Virtuclean. Can’t wait to see how thrilled you get from pouncing on those who ask about or claim a positive experience with that product! Oh, wait a minute. I see that the same gang already has.
