S/H Pressure vs. Mask Pressure?
What is the difference between SleepyHead "Pressure" and "Mask Pressure?" They are always different. Which one most accurately reflects my pressures throughout the night?

Re: S/H Pressure vs. Mask Pressure?
I think that you need to give us more detail. For instance, actual numbers for both pressures.
Re: S/H Pressure vs. Mask Pressure?
Examples please.
I think I know what you are seeing but need to see examples to be sure. Are you using EPR?
Mask pressure shows the pressure at the mask end and will reflect inhale and exhale in one graph
Regular pressure line shows whatever pressure you have selected to show and for me it was EPAP until I changed it to show IPAP.
Hover your mouse over the word pressure on the graph line...right click mouse and then click on plots. Mine wants to continually default to EPAP so I see the one line of EPAP pressure which reflects my drop during exhale because of EPR. Worried me until I realized what it was showing. Now I just mentally adjust in my head. Or go in and change the plots to show both IPAP and EPAP.

These graphs hopefully show Pressure vs Mask Pressure:

"Pressure" is the programmed 'I want the pressure to be this' in the machine, either what's set, or what the auto has decided the pressure should be.MurrayNevada wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 7:59 amWhat is the difference between SleepyHead "Pressure" and "Mask Pressure?" "Mask Pressure" is the *measured* pressure at the machine outlet. You can see it vary up and down if you zoom in, you can see the vibration of the Forced Oscillation Technique" when an auto tries to determine if an apnea is central or obstructive.
Also, if you look at the examples you've shown, they're not different. The y axis scales on the graphs are different, but the traces are the same, except for brief glitches.
