ahi variation - why
ahi variation - why
Over the last 30 days (nights) my reported AHI has varied from 2.3 to 12 with an average of about 6. The hours of usage is averaging 8 hours per night with a minimum of 7 hours and a maximum of 9 hours.
Why does the AHI vary so much and what can I do about it assuming I need to?
Before commencing CPAP my AHI was 26

If someone needs to see anything else they will just ask.
Please don't try to include all the graphs with a half a dozen images. You can get all the basics on one image.
Worry about anything extra someone might need later.

We don't sleep the same every night. Lots of things can cause variations........from sleeping positions to what we eat.sleepyham wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 1:31 pmOver the last 30 days (nights) my reported AHI has varied from 2.3 to 12 with an average of about 6. Maybe increasing minimum pressure in your case might help. It appears that in the first report, your CAs were significant and seemed to spike with your pressure (except for that one long period of them). So, that's not consistent, but if the CAs are a result of your mouth falling open, you may need to address that situation. Too many unknowns to try to determine from just looking at a couple of reports.
