Rediscovered ResMed AirFit F20 FFM
When I originally purchased the ResMed AirFit F20 FFM it was uncomfortable and noisy. I recently took a chance and ordered large headgear (it ships with smaller headgear) and the new QuietAir Elbow that has been shipping with the F20 since mid-June. It makes a great difference using this new setup. Quiet and comfortable. I have found that making a few tweaks to masks, as they are shipped, is necessary to get a more custom fit. This was also true with the DreamWear FFM and nasal masks.

Just curious, what tweaks did you do with the Dreamwear FFM?MurrayNevada wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 3:32 pmWhen I originally purchased the ResMed AirFit F20 FFM it was uncomfortable and noisy. I'm trying to like one right now and would like to hear what you did.

"Just curious, what tweaks did you do with the Dreamwear FFM?"
Replaced the "small/medium" headgear originally shipped with size large headgear and replaced the medium cushion with a "medium wide" cushion.

Good job! I had to do that with my Fitlife Total mask. Larger mask, smaller headgear. I love the F20 also. I have nose bridge problems (soreness) and I find the F20 is more flexible in the nose bridge area. It took me years to finally get a full face mask that will cooperate with me!

i also had problems with the first few full face masks I tried making the bridge of my nose sore. The first one I found that did not make my nose sore was the Amara View, then the F20, and now I am using the Dream Wear FFM. Of these three, I like the Dream Wear the best.

Yeah, ditto for me on the frame/headgear.MurrayNevada wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 10:16 pm"Just curious, what tweaks did you do with the Dreamwear FFM?"
Replaced the "small/medium" headgear originally shipped with size large headgear and replaced the medium cushion with a "medium wide" cushion.
But despite having a head roughly the size of a basketball I can't make the size index card for the cushion measure me to be any more than just a medium. It's counterintuitive but I'm sticking with it for now. May try a large and/or medium wide later to see if either might help with the sealing issues. You never know.
If I can get the leaks under better control I think the mask shows real promise.
