I remember a story about someone who read something on the internet and believed it.
ok. You think this is a lie?
Whatever you say.Had a friend many years ago that taped his mouth shut and vomited, inhaling same. He died. Personally I would use a full face mask to offset mouth breathing although I am not sure exactly how much safer it is in empirical terms. I use the Quattro FFM and love it. I also have several different kinds of tape, a PAPCAP and other assorted contraptions intended to keep my mouth sealed while sleeping. They were all a pain in the butt to use. The Quattro is, in and of itself, a great solution to the problem and is especially useful if you have allergies or a cold (love my humidifier for when I have a cold... heated high humidity air... great for a cold. No coughing. Clear chest in the morning. Etc.

hmmmm....for awhile, i was using something similar. on the baby wipes i buy, there is an oval piece of plastic that you pierce (it's perforated.) and then you remove to access said wipes. it has a hinged plastic lid to keep the wipes moist.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Thu Jul 05, 2018 11:35 amOnly $10. https://www.goldstreamcpap.com/faq

i am always happy to let people know that this works! well, at least for me. no danger of swallowing it. no danger of choking on vomit as it is easily removed.Jay Aitchsee wrote: ↑Thu Jul 05, 2018 5:35 pmBefore I started using a Sunci, I toyed with the idea of making a similar device. Even talked with my dentist about it. Never got far with it, though, too many obstacles to overcome. Now, after a couple of years of use, the Scunci has proven very effective in reducing my mouth breathing to an acceptable level.

I've been looking at taping and chin up strips came up. What are your impressions?chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Fri Jul 06, 2018 6:03 pmChin up strips instead of tape.
