Sleep Dentists For Oral Device In New York City??

Hey everyone! Does anyone know of any doctors/dentists in New York who make sleep apnea oral appliances? Trying to find someone who accepts my insurance. Thanks!!

I would start with your insurance company. They should be able to provide you with a list of dentists they work with and then you work from there with figuring out who might be good for an oral device.

An oral device was of great help to me until I was able to get on CPAP, and then the device was very helpful to me for the first few years while on CPAP. It trained me to keep my mouth closed in conjunction with CPAP use.

To the OP,

While CPAP is the gold-standard for treating Sleep Apnea at this time, not everybody is able to use CPAP. I don't know if there's any way to measure your sleep with such a device as there is with most current model CPAP machines.

Why is it that you don't think that CPAP is for you?
