I tried an Airsense 10 Autoset in 2015, and it was noisy on inhale. Well I tried a loaner last month for 2 weeks month, and its was super quite. So i bough a unit, which is also super quiet, even more quite than my previous S9. Maybe Resmed has finally solved the bugs. Very happy now.

I don't think it was so much as a bug in the earlier units as you more likely got a noisy lemon.
The first people here trying the AirSense 10 , back when it was first released, who had been using S9 models...most of them said it was more quiet than the S9.
Even now someone comes here complaining about noise on their AirSense machine and we tell them to go swap it out because it's most likely a lemon.

Lemons happen with all of the brands.
