I see lots of posts for dry eyes or eye bags but this is OVER my eyes and worse every year...
I know it is tears that can't be shed at night through my nose - because i have a lot of air pressure through my nasal pillows... Doctor stated this but gave no remedy.
Big puffiness OVER my eyes not bags under... And the first week or two that this happened (not when i first started using cpap but maybe after my air was increased or i stopped using humidifier or both) I would have a sneezing fit first thing, like 9 a.m. at work, lots of sneezes and tears, like an allergic reaction, then it would stop. Now i think that was my body shedding the build up. It doesn't happen any more.
Every week, month, year, my eyes (over eyes, eylids?) are fuller and puffier - it is not attractive and is starting to be uncomfortable.
Most articles i see are about the fit of the mask or air in the eyes -not applicable here. My mask does not bind face or go near eyes and my eyes are shut and wet when i wake.
Anyone with same? Any one can help? Advice appreciated,
Thank you, Michelle

Get a new doctor and find out what's really what.
Don't assume you know the answer, don't self diagnose with Google - everyone's different!

Agree 100%.
Any doctor who speaks such nonsense should be fired.

Shelmail68,
I agree with the above posts about your Doc. But wearing a cpap mask can do weird things to your face. I look like death warmed over when I first get up. I hardly recognize myself in the mirror. Puffy some places and others are grooved and indented. By noon and after drinking lots of water, my face resumes a more normal contour. It's a price I'm willing to pay. If I were someone with more concern about my appearance...I'd try switching masks or maybe a pillow system. Hope you get it figured out.

CN, Michelle states that she is USING nasal pillows.
I wonder if there is irritation due to stopping the use of a heated humidifier.
