Hanging up the hose?
Hanging up the hose?
I'd like to find something I could hook my hose to when I'm not using the CPAP.
I sleep in a recliner these days so the kind of thing that slips under the mattress is a nonstarter/
I'd like something that clamps to a side table (top is about 1/ 2 inch thick) and has a hook.
Is there such an animal?
Thanks.

Thanks. Only the Sky Hook is close, but not close enough.

Re: Hanging up the hose?
Make it easy on yourself. Get any kind of clamp that will grip your table - bulldog clip, c-clamp, etc. Loop a hair tie and run the hose through the loop. Here's a rigged example just for illustration sake. I have also clipped or pinned a hair tie to the mattress cover so the hose doesn't fall behind the bed when I disconnect it. If your recliner is fabric, that might be an even easier solution. Recommend the loose fluffier ties instead of the thin tight bands so there's less chance of damaging the hose if there's a strong tug.

Hair scrunchies are brilliant!
I forgot my hose minder on a trip, but a visit to a handy dollar store yielded
duck tape and scrunchies. Tape sticky cleans off wooden headboards easily.
At my brother's place, I hang the scrunchies from the drapes with clothes pins.

I use a big binder clip with a large rubber band to attach the hose to the binder clip, which is clipped onto the window sill.

Sleepguy's Hose Boss is a compact solution.
Command hooks, or any hook, can be attached to a wall;
or anything can be pinned to a lamp shade.
My home contraption consists of a swivel plant hanger, duck tape,
part of a broken fishing pole, and an assortment of teen hair control devices.

Re: Hanging up the hose?
Thanks for all the suggestions. I ended up with a C-clamp clamped upside down on my table. Then I drape the maskholder over the top of the clamp.
Can't use any of the bedside suggestions because I sleep in a recliner not a bed. Also, I needed a "quick release" solution because I have 4 or 5 sleep periods per night.

Try this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Vigoro-16-i ... /205347009
Or, if you feel handy at fabricating a base such as drilling a couple of holes in a short table (to end up with the hose hook attached to a stand for the machine), try this:

They are both the same price.

JimW159 -- good suggestions. Thanks.
LSAT - " The base measures 6.3" x 7.5" x 3/8" and is placed between the mattress and box spring of a bed. " Won't work for me.
Thanks all.

Old fiberglass fishing pole, magnet on top, another magnet on hose, easy to hook and release. Jim
