Sorry to hear this. I have only been on the forum for about 2 1/2 years, but remember her voice of reason on many threads.

Sad to hear.

It's good that the news was delivered, though.

So sad to hear this, she was a regular on the forum and many of us have benefited in some way from her contributions. R.I.P. 49er.

I still find this whole forum/board thing a little odd in how much I care about people I've never met face-to-face. I understand the advantages of anonymity and privacy. But there are people on this forum who have died that I would have driven more than a day's drive away to attend their funeral, had I known about it in time.
I feel the same way. i still miss my buddy Will (Sir NoddinOff) – even though I never met him.

I'm sorry to hear about Viv. RIP 49er.

This is sad news. 49er was a helpful fellow human being. May she rest in peace and rise in Glory. God bless you, Vivian.

I still don't know who I am going to "fight" with when baseball season gets here. That was such an daily part of our friendship.

Vivian would text me and say... did ya see that play? I'd say, what play?? Then she'd say, oh, I forgot, you don't have a clue what I'm talking about.

Sad news indeed. I had several PM exchanges with 49er over the years, all of them cheerful and pleasant even though they often revolved around our respective health issues. She was, by her example, a civilizing influence on contentious topics, and like so many others here I will miss her presence.
