Use Delta's power for CPAP on international travel?

Has anyone flown Delta overseas recently and used the seat power outlet for their CPAP? I don't have a portable battery, so I was hoping to plug in (no humidifier) during the 10 hour flight.

Are you 100% sure you seat has an outlet? I flew Delta overseas a few months ago and used my cpap with battery pack.

Supposedly the first 10 rows in economy have outlets. Either way, I may get the REMBATT. Anybody have any experience with that one?

Also, sometimes electrical power on airplanes is supplied at an "normal" voltage, but at 400 hz (normal household is 60 hz or 50 hz). Make sure that this isn't the case with power supplied at the seat, or that your converter can handle this frequency.

I'm flying Delta, and their official policy is that you have to bring your own power, but I see a lot of comments at other sites that agree with your statement.

The good side of bringing your own power supply, if the plane crashes, MacGyver can pull the planes radio and hook up your XPAP batteries for power to send out a S.O.S.! Jim

Emirates does not let you use their power sockets. I managed to get away with it in business class from Aus to Dubai (possibly because of the seat I was using and the position of their power socket) but on the way back in First class was told I needed a battery.
