Yet another battery pack question

On another note, I have been using NOCO chargers for a while now and have found them completely bullet and idiot proof. I've never used their jump starters, but this 24 AH li pack https://no.co/gb20 weighs 1 lb and cost $65 on amazon. Their chargers are waterproof, with pretty sophisticated and complex charging algorithms, and comparably priced to Battery Tenders FWIW.

The NOCO gear looks good but I'm disappointed that the battery pack specs omit the capacity of the battery! Doesn't give me a good feeling about the company.

I took another look at the spec for the NOCO pack - its not 24 Amp-hours, its 24 WATT-hours. This is a huge difference, actually a factor of 12. Used to power a 12V device, this is only 2 Amp-hours, which is not enough to power most cpaps. They do offer several much more expensive packs that would go 1 or maybe 2 nights, but they don't save any money over the several 100 watt-hour packs designed for cpaps on airplanes.

Yeah I totally misread those Noco specs, sorry, way too pricey for me.

I now have a Resmed 24v unit and am planning on eventually getting a couple of small agm batteries to build a battery system. I wonder if the Resmed proprietary DC to DC converter will be more efficient when run at 24 instead of 12, as it could bypass it step up converter, since it looks like 2 18ah agms weigh about the same as one 35ah, and only cost a few dollars more. As I mentioned in another thread, I was hoping to avoid the Remed DC to DC converter with a 24v set up.

Since you mentioned possibility being interested in the Power Add 32,000 I thought I’d chime in. I’ve posted about my use of that battery both to run a Phillips System One 560 and my good experience charging it via a portable folding solar panel.

I now use a ResMed Autoset APAP but do continue to use the Respironics for camping. I would like to find a cord/24v to 12v so I could use with this set up with my ResMed. I found this on Amazon and am thinking of ordering it and trying it as I have been very, very, happy with the PowerAdd.

The resmed is very efficient at an input range of 12-24v, it doesn't really care what you feed it.

It's not going to 'bypass' anything though.

This is an update to my previous post about the cord I was going to try with my ResMed Autoset 10 and a 24to12v cord from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UW ... FX5V&psc=1

I did get the cord and tried it with my ResMed. Unfortunately it didn’t power up the ResMed even though the connectors seemed to fit on both ends and the lights on the converter cord showed it was receiving power from the battery. So - no go. I returned it to Amazon. Guess I’ll stick with my Phillips 560 for battery needs.

I have bought a 100 watt solar panel system and a 12 volt 35 AH AGM battery to use with my AirSense 10 AutoSet during power outages.

I bought the Resmed DC power supply from our forum sponsor. I tested it in my car and it powered my CPAP.

I looked at that but it looks like it will only connect to a car’s 12v outlet or to a regular auto type battery with terminals via terminal clamps? Does it also have a pin type attachment for a lithium battery. I only see those 2 choices.
