Transcend Auto Firmware upgrade

I recently purchased a second hand machine for travelling. The date appears to be stuck in 2016 and Ive been told it needs a firmware upgrade.
Is it freely available?

Yep checked that out most are for other products nothing to do with CPAP.

Who told him, and wouldn't they be the first people to ask, or are they just talking thru their hat! Or did they just use that "Firmware" answerto keep the sale. Jim

Yes Ive been in contact with them and they tell me it needs a Firmware upgrade not a software upgrade and they have now come back with a tel number for a supplier in my country that can do it. I just wondered if anyone else had come across this before and what they did about it. Seems to me to be more an internal battery failure like a computer that throws the date out.
